Phyllis Jean - she was my grandmother. After my grandpa committed suicide when my mom was 5 & my aunt was 7 she took on more shifts at work ( she was A phenomenal pediatric nurse ) . She raised my aunt and mom by herself & then when i was born she retired. My mom was A drug addict ( she had me at 15) & my grandma raised me . She taught me to be the mother i am today. When life pushed her down her strength got her through it all. The strongest women i knew . Although her passing was 2 days after my sweet 16 . i will never forget her & her favorite color was purple .
